This white paper is intended to provide a series of recommendations to guide practitioners in achieving more integrated behavioral health services in their respective settings. The paper presents Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) as a guiding clinical framework and identifies organizational change activities that are necessary to fully implement integrated treatment models.
